The digital coaches were at the St. John of God Research Conference at the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan Dublin, Ireland, on Tuesday, November 12, to present the SAID Project poster. It was a day filled with insightful discussions and groundbreaking research presentations. This in-person event provides an opportunity for the digital coaches to network and talk about the SAID project, their roles, the tools they use, and the successes they have achieved. The conference also created an avenue for the digital coaches to sign people up who are interested in the project.
The best part of the day for the digital coaches was the presentation of the SAID Project poster. This visually engaging and informative poster captured the essence of the project’s mission: empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to take active roles as digital coaches and mentors in digital education. It provided an overview of the project’s objectives, the training process, and the impact these coaches are having in creating a more inclusive and digitally literate educational landscape.
