Our DigiCoaches across the country have been very busy the last few months. The SAID project in Ireland is a collaboration between Liffey Services and Skills for Life in Kerry Service. The Digi-coaches in Kerry got the opportunity to work in a local primary school. They really enjoyed the experience and they have two more schools lined up
In Dublin the team worked with students in Greengables and they will start in school in September. Getting the chance to work with their peers and younger people has been great experience for the Dublin team. In August Niamh Fortune DigiCoach and tutor Klara Gyarmathy (Dublin) along with Ian Coleman Digital Coach and Sophie Casey (Kerry) will travel to Helsinki in Finland and present the project and link with the other partners from Graz, Austria and across Finland. They will share their digital skills, help others, and show that people with disabilities can be experts, too.
